Sustainable Economy

sustainable economy

GISA identifies sustainable economic development as a central theme across all its research, consulting, and applied programs. We go beyond offering policy recommendations by directly collaborating with partners to design and implement models, initiatives, and solutions that promote green growth, circular economy, and enhance local resilience. Our implementation efforts focus on integrating systems thinking, appropriate technologies, and interdisciplinary, multi-stakeholder approaches. GISA’s initiatives aim to drive a transformation in development models toward a harmonious balance between economic, social, and environmental goals, while building a foundation for grassroots impact—empowering communities, businesses, and localities to co-create sustainable value.
